Terms & conditions.
These terms apply to every airport transfer, island tour and car rental booked with Generation Cars. By booking, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are

2. Our services
We provide private airport transfers to and from Seychelles International Airport (SEZ), island tours with a driver, and car rental with or without a driver, on the island of Mahé.
3. Booking and confirmation
When you send a booking through our website, we hold the car for you and send you a booking reference. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm it to you by WhatsApp or email. We may decline a booking, for example if a car becomes unavailable. If we do, any payment you made is refunded in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) before you book and include everything listed in your booking summary. You can pay online by card when you book, or pay on arrival. Online card payments are processed securely by Absa Bank (Seychelles) Limited through CyberSource. Card details are entered on the bank’s payment page, and we never see or store them. Paying online charges the full amount of your booking straight away.
5. Cancellations and changes
You can cancel or change a booking as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Refunds of card payments are made to the card used to pay.
6. Airport transfers and tours
For arrivals, give us your flight number and we will follow your flight, so early or late landings are not a problem. Half-day tours last 4 hours and full-day tours 8 hours from pickup. If you would like more time, ask your driver; extra time is charged at our current rate, agreed with you first.
7. Self-drive rental: drivers
Every driver must be at least 23 years old, have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year, and show that licence and a passport or ID when the car is handed over. If your licence is not in English or French, please also bring an International Driving Permit. Only drivers named in the booking may drive the car.
8. Self-drive rental: using the car
Traffic in Seychelles drives on the left. The car must stay on Mahé and may not be taken on a ferry or to another island. It may not be used off-road, for racing, for towing, to carry paying passengers, or be rented to someone else. Smoking is not allowed in our cars. Please return the car with the same level of fuel it had at handover; if not, we charge the cost of refuelling. Please return the car on time. A late return may be charged as an extra day.
9. Insurance and damage
All our cars carry the insurance required by Seychelles law. Without full insurance, you are responsible for damage to the car during your rental, up to the damage excess stated when we confirm your rental. You can add full insurance when you book, for a fixed daily fee. It covers all damage to the car. Full insurance does not cover damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, by a driver not named in the booking, or by use not allowed in these terms. It does not cover personal belongings left in the car.
10. Accidents, breakdowns and fines
If you have an accident or a breakdown, stop safely and contact us straight away. For any accident, please also report it to the police. Do not admit liability to other parties. Where possible we will arrange a replacement car. Traffic and parking fines received during your rental are your responsibility.
11. Our responsibility
We do our best to be on time, every time. We are not responsible for delays or changes caused by things outside our control, such as severe weather, road closures, accidents or flight changes, but we will always try to help. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Seychelles law.
12. Your personal information
We use your details only to arrange and look after your booking. See our Privacy Policy.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, and the courts of Seychelles have jurisdiction over any dispute.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book applies to your booking. Last updated 24 September 2026.
